We are strengthening our ICT team in Ruoholahti, Helsinki with a solution- and development-oriented IT services professional. The job is hybrid remote and full-time, with an option to begin working flexibly part-time. We are now looking for an

IT Support Specialist

As the future fourth member of our proactive and highly collaborative ICT team, you will work with us to ensure Finnfund’s employees have the most suitable tools and know-how to manage information and knowledge in an effective and efficient way.

What you will be doing

Although consecutively running end user services will remain at the core of our everyday work, in the future more emphasis will be directed towards developing our technical tools and processes. Your main responsibilities include

  • Solving hardware and software-related problems on users’ workstations and mobile devices
  • Workstation and software installations
  • IT maintenance
  • Helping, guiding and advising users with their technical tools and processes
  • Escalating problems that have occurred to different service providers
  • Innovating software solutions to increase company-level workflow

Who are we looking for

You are a motivated team player with a hands-on and determined working style and a solution-seeking, helpful attitude. You are more than happy to set foot in the office regularly to remain easily approachable to Finnfund employees and to brainstorm together with your team. You are enthusiastic about functional and user-friendly software and about making sure everyone at Finnfund can do their jobs effectively. You have an interest towards teaching end users in matters related to software and the IT environment, and are able to communicate fluently in Finnish and English.

Your background may include vocational school or applied sciences university studies in ICT or you may have acquired similar theoretical skills through practical experience. You possess a general knowledge of common IT accessories and mobile devices, the Microsoft Windows operating system, Microsoft domain environments and office tools in addition to basic knowledge of data protection and cyber security.
