What does Finnfund do?

Finnfund offers equity, long-term loans and mezzanine financing to private companies operating in developing countries. We also provide expertise on investing in developing markets.

Profitability, sustainability and measurable development impacts are a prerequisite for all Finnfund investments.

Our emphasis is on clean energy, sustainable forestry, sustainable agriculture and financial institutions as these sectors make a significant impact on sustainable development. We make also investments in a range of other sectors.
