11/01/2006

Finnfund has made its first investment commitment in Ukraine. Zaporozhcrane is also Finnfund’s first joint venture with the KCI Konecranes. KCI Konecranes is a world leading crane technology and service company.

Finnfund has on 28th December 2005 obtained a 46% share of the Zaporozhcrane Holding company. The holding company and KCI Konecranes own the Ukrainian crane company Zaporozhcrane.

In October 2005 KCI bought the majority of the crane company Zaporozhcrane through a holding company with the intention of reducing its ownership stake below 50%.
