Finnfund

Finnfund has adopted a new corporate symbol and logo. The designer, Mr. Pekka Loiri, describes the new visual image thus:

The form of Finnfund’s logotype depicts globalism and capital. Its rounded shape simultaneously shows the world and the two aspects of money – the financier and the financed.

The circular shape is divided horizontally into sectors, representing the division of the world into regions and monetary units of measurement. In print the logo will be represented mainly in shades of gray. These also hint at silver coinage.

Finnfund’s font has been specially designed, a modern variation on the classic roman Capitalis Monumentalis typeface. This is regarded as the foundation and cornerstone of Latin typefaces.
